Updated 3 September 2019
I currently have very limited availability. Please, enquire and I can let you know the current situation. I may ask you to check back in a few weeks to see if something frees up.
I offer 50-minute sessions in-person to individual adults (18+) at a fee of £90.
For couples, the fee is £100 for 50 minutes, or £130 for 75 minutes where available.
Skype sessions are £80.
I keep three weekly slots at a reduced rate of £70. The reduced fee is available to those on a low income with no significant assets such as a house. Reduced fee sessions are daytime rather than evening appointments and allocated first-come, first-served.
If you cannot afford these fees, you could contact the Reduced Fee Service at Number 42 Psychotherapy and Well-being, or your local branch of ‘Mind’.
I am not registered with healthcare providers such as BUPA. My contract is always direct with you and I do not take on any duties to others. I am happy to provide invoices to you on request, which you may be able to submit for reimbursement from an employer or insurance provider.
Coming to therapy can feel like a big decision. I try to make it straightforward.
Initial appointments are full, paid 50-minute sessions to give you a clear idea of what I offer in practice. I hope to hear what brings you, and answer your questions. I will listen carefully and address any concerns. I may ask about your family and cultural background, your support network, experience of psychotherapy and keeping you and others safe.
I can say something about myself, how I work and its relevance to you. I will speak about the terms of our work particularly regarding cancellation, confidentiality and payment. If you wish to proceed, we then meet weekly in a slot reserved for you in an open-ended agreement.
You are free to leave at any time, though it is better to plan the ending. I ask that you commit to at least one closing session once you have decided to finish.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions large or small: I welcome the enquiry.
